Last bug I noticed, was very strange and i donīt even know if it is a bug. In scenario two after defeating the enemy, I tried to harvest the last resources that were near the wreck.

I selected the collector, pressed "H", and he would make the journey there. But once near the gas cloud, it would just turn around and go back to near the mothership, without haevesting anything.

When I passed the cursor near the cloud, it would turn into the harvest cursor...

Thats all for bugs. I hope you find this information useful. I found the game in general very responsive, and even with better graphics than in the PC...

Was the harvester nearly full? It may have fractionally added to its storage before the animation actually started kicking in and so looked like it didn't do anything. (I just redid the mission myself and I managed to harvest it.)

Also only one harvester can operate on a particular resource patch at a time. It doesn't explain the behaviour you saw but sometimes a harvester will give you a hard time if there are limited resource patches available and other harvesters are already using them.

I donīt think the collector was full. It ordered it to dock with the MS and there was no increase in resources...

The console output for this part of the game was (what does it mean 'Game_PlayerHarvesterDone'?):

No resources are left in the environment and the harvester itself is empty; i.e. neither harvesting nor docking actions are required so ignore the "harvest" command. I guess it's possible that the resource patch has been left with zero units but is still being rendered for some reason but I can't immediately see a problem with the resource object destruction code.

I hate to bump a 4.5-year-old thread, but I have the answer to this one. Fortunately, it's pretty simple - a bug in the map. This is a problem in the PC version of the game as well. The pattern of debris around the resource cloud is such that it is very difficult to get the resource collector to pathfind to it. IIRC this is occasionally a problem on the mission 3 map as well, with clouds near the scaffold wreckage.

It's possible, mostly because if the collector is in the right orientation it will harvest for a half-second as it turns towards the mothership and leaves.

No problem with MacHomeworld. =)
